Welcome
Podere Vecchia Commenda is located in close proximity to the medieval village of Massa Marittima, just at the foot of the hill, and has been completely renovated over the past few years.
It is immersed in nature, right in the heart of Tuscan Maremma, surrounded by a lovely green landscape with rolling hills, olive groves and vineyards.
The farm is fantastically located: it is close to some of the best beaches in Tuscany and it’s a perfect base to reach the must-see sights, tourist sites and some well-known cities like Grosseto, Siena, Pisa and Livorno.
Our farm is a small family-run property consisting of only three apartments and can therefore accommodate a small number of people, who can enjoy space, privacy and tranquility, as well as nonstop care and attention.
OUR APARTMENTS
We have renovated the apartments and equipped them with all the necessary tools and furniture to make them functional, comfortable, cosy, perfect to satisfy our guests’ needs.
The accommodations are beautifully styled and embody three distinct personalities: each of them is furnished differently, the attention to detail is what makes them unique.
We do care about igiene and cleanliness, so we provide a thorough cleaning and ensure a perfectly sanitized, tidy environment that will make our guests feel at ease since the very first moment.
All the apartments are located on the ground floor and are adjacent to each other, with an independent entrance through the front garden of the house.
Each apartment has a comfortable living area with a nice sofa and a sat TV, a kitchen with a wide range of kitchen tools, including a good set of cookware and crockery, a bathroom with a shower and a bidet, a large sleeping area and a spacious furnished porch where you can enjoy al fresco dining (eating in the open air) and relax, while pampering yourself with a beautiful panoramic view.
The apartments are equipped with heating, mosquito nets and double windows; a washing machine for shared use is available in the outdoor space.
Our guests have access to free private parking and wifi.

Sustainability
We love nature and believe it is a crucial value to be respected and treated with care.
That’s why we have completely renovated our farm with the aim of creating an energy-efficient environment, by using green energy (renewable energy sources) and dramatically reducing thermal dispersion (heat loss and absorption) in order to achieve an optimal environmental sustainability.
Our business is based on the steady and progressive reduction of the environmental footprint and everything we do reflects our dedication to this fundamental goal.

We are definitely in love with our farm and our land, and we are always happy to open the doors to our guests.

We personally work to consistently innovate and enhance the services we provide, as well as to make our farm and its surroundings more and more comfy and enjoyable.
